The appointment is for1st Marchprice the GigaTexas, one of the two newest Tesla factories together with the one in Berlin. Yesterday the company released the typical invitation poster to the event, identifying it as Investor Dayafter the past Battery Day and AI Day.
We actually already knew that there would be something like this in the month of March, as it had been anticipated several times, but now we know more precisely what the topic will be, even if the usual Musk wanted to up the ante.
Commenting on Twitter he indeed stated that during the event there will be the presentation of the third part of the Master Plan, a sort of project that Tesla has been following since 2006, when the first part was published. At the time, the steps indicated referred to the construction of the first Roadster, which would then lead to the creation of the Model S, and then again to the Model 3.
The second part of the Master Plan included solar roofs and storage batteries, an even wider production of electric cars, and finally super safe autonomous driving, and a car capable of generating profit for the owner, for example carrying people autonomously when not in use, as if it were a robotaxi. We know that these last two points are still under development, especially the last one, which hasn’t actually been talked about much recently.
Master Plan 3, the path to a fully sustainable energy future for Earth will be presented on March 1.

Despite this, Musk wants to move on to part 3 of his plan already, and the background image of the invitations could hint at the topic. What at first sight almost looks like a fabric, actually enlarging the image reveals a lot many Tesla car chassis all closely spaced and infinitely replicated. This suggests that Tesla may be focusing on increasing production, to climb towards 2 million cars a year. To do this we know that the factory in Nevada will soon be expanded, that the one in China will reach levels never seen before, and that a new factory will most likely also arrive in Mexico. The event, as usual, will be streamed.
