Silver Stone presented a new case that can be used both in rack cabinets and vertically as a normal desktop. The new Silver Stone RM51 it is 5U in height and supports a variety of motherboard formats, including E-ATX.
SilverStone RM51, a rack case but not only

The SilverStone RM51 is designed to be used for both workstations and servers, and offers the option of mounting in a rack cabinet as well as being used as a traditional desktop case.
The case has dimensions equal to 440 x 220 x 485mm, which make it sufficiently voluminous. However, these generous dimensions make it possible to house motherboards inside SSI-EEB, SSI-CEB and E-ATXas well as two feeders (one ATX and one secondary SFX format). There is room for four 3.5-inch hard drives and four more 2.5-inch hard drives, but two 3.5-inch drives need not be mounted to position the SFX power supply. The space inside the case is enough to accommodate graphics cards up to 455 mm in lengthand 198 mm high, as well as CPU coolers up to 192 mm high.

The front panel is gridded to maximize air intake and it is possible to install three 120mm or two 180mm fans (Two 180mm Air Penetrator 184i PRO fans are included with the case.) The back, in correspondence with the PCI slots, houses two additional 80 mm fans, while in correspondence with the IO we find a 140 mm one.
It is expected to be available in Europe in March, at an as yet unknown price. For the American market, the launch is scheduled for the second half of February a $490. This is certainly an important price, but commensurate with the fact that the case allows you to assemble a respectable mini-server or NAS with very few compromises, even by inserting it in a rack cabinet.
