The presentation of the Renault Clio restyling is approaching. Also, apparently, the facelift will bring several design innovations. An advance of the new features that will be introduced comes from a short film showing the new model while recording what appears to be a promotional spot. The video was shot in the center of the Spanish city of Valencia.

The current fifth series of the Renault Clio arrived in 2019 and, therefore, the time is ripe for the debut of the restyling. Although the footage doesn’t show the car up close, it can be observed well like the front will present several differences with that of the current model. In more detail, we can see how the front grille will grow in size. In addition, the new logo of the French brand will also be present.

We will also have new horizontally developed headlights with arrow-shaped LED daytime running lights underneath. With the restyling, Renault has also revised the shape of the bumper. It seems that for the facelift, the French brand wanted to introduce some elements seen last year within the Renault Scenic Vision concept.

Unfortunately, the video does not show the rear of the car which, in any case, is very likely to feature light clusters with new graphics and a series of retouches to the shape of the bumper. As far as the interior is concerned, one can assume at least the arrival of new upholstery and a updated version of the infotainment system. The endowment of driver assistance systems could also be improved.

On the engine front, no major changes are expected. There is only talk of the possible arrival of a new 1.2 Mild Hybrid offered in true power levels. Obviously, the well-known Full Hybrid version will not be missing. All that remains is to wait for news on the official presentation of the restyling of the Renault Clio.
