UGC NET 2023 Answer Key: National Testing Agency (NTA) released the answer key for the UGC NET Exam held from  Feb 21 to March 15 2023, for a total of 8,34,537 candidates, under Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, Phase 4 and Phase 5. Candidates can download UGC NET Dec Answer Key from the official website of UGC NET i.e. ugcnet.nta.nic.in. NTA has also uploaded the Question Paper and Response Sheet of the NTA UGC Exam 2023 for all phases along with the answer key on the official website.

How to Check Answer Key of UGC NET 2023?

Follow the given steps to get the UGC NET 2023 answer key from the portal.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET – ugcnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on ‘Answer Key Challenge’ flashing on the homepage under ‘Latest News’

Step 3: Login into your account

Step 4: Download NTA 2023 Answer Key

NTA has also invited objections from the candidates, who have any doubts about the published UGC Answer Key, through online mode from 23 March to 25 March 2023 upto 8.00 PM.  The candidates may challenge the same by paying a fee of Rs. 200/-  per question as a nonrefundable processing fee. The candidates can check the steps to challenge an UGC NET 2023 answer key below:

• First, visit  NTA website and then Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’
• Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter your Security Pin as displayed and submit.
• Click on “View Question Paper” for marked responses and to view or challenge the Answer keys, click on the link “Click to view /Challenge Answer Key”.
• You will see Question IDs in sequential order. The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA. The Dropped Questions are highlighted and not for the challenge.
• If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
• After clicking your desired option, scroll down, ‘Save your Claims’ and move to the next screen.
• You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
• You may upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).
• Click on ‘Save your Claims and pay fee’ or in case you wish to modify the claims, click on modify your Claims’.
• After saving the claims, you will find a screen displaying your Challenges.
• Pay the fee by clicking on ‘Pay Fee’. The claims will be saved finally after the successful payment of the requisite fee.

How to Calculate UGC NET Score 2023?

The candidates can also calculate their probable results with the help of the answer key of UGC NET 2023. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to calculate their marks through NTA UGC NET Answer Key.

• Add two marks for each correct answer in the exam
• Add zero marks for each incorrect answer in the exam
• Total the marks for all the correct answers in the exam

UGC NET Result 2023 Date

NTA will also release the result of the exam on its official website. The result will be published in the form of a scorecard. NTA UGC NET Result and Final UGC NET 2023 Answer Key will be prepared on the basis of objections which will be submitted by the candidates.  No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The National Testing Agency conducted UGC NET December 2022 in 83 subjects in 05 phases for over 16 days in 32 shifts at 663 centers in 186 cities across the country. Phase 1 was conducted from 21 to 24 February 2023, Phase 2 was conducted from 28 February 2023, 01 and 02 March 2023, Phase 3 was conducted from 03 to 06 March 2023, Phase 4 was conducted on 11 & 12 March 2023 and Phase 5 was conducted from 13 to 16 March 2023.
