Waze is one of the most popular and used navigation applications among users, and of course it supports Android Auto, Google’s vehicle operating system. Recently, the company announced plans to release a new update for the app that solves a Waze problem on Android Auto.

Over the past few weeks, several users have complained of problems with using Waze on Android Auto: in a completely random way, the whole system goes into crash or it is no longer possible to use the GPS position on the map (while the application remains functional).
Waze obviously immediately ran for cover and an update arrived in record time Release Candidates (that is almost completely definitive, but not yet available for all users): the version 4.92.0.1 by Waze for Android therefore solves these crashes that we have just told you about.
The update should be almost ready and within a few days it will also come for all Waze users.
In this regard, we specify that this update it doesn’t bring much-requested support to Coolwalk, the new graphic interface of Android Auto. At the moment therefore, to use Waze with Coolwalk it is necessary to use the beta version of the navigation app.
Also Coolwalk however it is struggling to arrive: there are very few users who have actually received the new interface for Android Auto and the rollout seems to be really going to slow (we talked about it specifically in this article).
