The time for Alfa Romeo Stelvio is approaching receive a makeover which will revise the look of the SUV a little, as well as introduce some new electronics and, perhaps, the engine. They have been published through Walter Vayr’s social channels new spy photos of a forklift of the new SUV engaged on the road during the classic development tests.
The pictures show a limited camouflage essentially in the area of the headlights. This is a sign that the restyling could introduce tweaks to the look only in detail. From what you can see, however, it looks like the Stelvio will be able to count on Tonale-style headlights, as well as light grille tweaks. The rear lights, on the other hand, seem to have new graphics.
For the rest, there don’t seem to be any other important changes. However, as is often the case with restylings, it is possible that they will come new colors for the bodywork and alloy wheels with a new design. There should also be refinements to the chassis and set-up to improve driving dynamics. The new images do not show the interior. However, some innovations regarding digital instrumentation and infotainment should be introduced.
With the restyling, Alfa Romeo should have updated and improved the ADAS systems. As for the engines, however, there is also talk of the introduction of new mild hybrid units. However, no major changes should come.
Overall, it seems that the restyling will not upset the car but only make small refinements to make the SUV competitive on the market for a few more years. The official debut shouldn’t be far away. So, soon we will finally be able to discover all the innovations that Alfa Romeo intends to introduce on the Stelvio with the restyling.
