Welcome back to the past. Start Amsterdam and we are a New York, in 1933. Here, O. Russell has a “theatrical” hand, each character boasts a sensational entry into the scene as if he were on the stage and this film of important entrances boasts several, also because it has a stellar cast, with stars who welcome well secondary characters (there are Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldana, Rami Malek etc.). Needless to say, each of their performances is worth the cost of the ticket.
