Iranians continue to protest in the streets against their rulers in Tehran, often at enormous personal cost. One brave example is our contributor Hossein Ronaghi and his family.
The Iranian government has accused Mr. Ronaghi of crimes including acting against national security and propagating against the Islamic Republic. His real offense is calling Western attention, including on these pages, to how the regime violates the rights of his compatriots. Mr. Ronaghi refuses to flee Iran, and he surrendered to authorities on Sept. 24 to spare family and friends from the risk of hiding him.
