The update we mentioned refers to Android Auto Beta 8.2. Let’s clarify immediately that the new Coolwalk graphical interface it is not included in this build, but this one contains some new references what Coolwalk will propose.

According to what was unearthed by the teardown carried out by 9to5Google on this new build of Android Auto Beta, Coolwalk will include a new “rail dock“. It means a new one sidebarwhich will replace the bottom bar that we now find under the main interface, which will host the most used apps.

Such apps can be a maximum of fourand we expect them to be shown the most used. Hence the proposition of these apps may vary based on the habits of each specific user. It remains to understand how the Assistant icons will be arranged and to access the drawer, which are currently proposed in the lower bar by Android Auto.

At the moment Google has not yet indicated when will begin to distribute the new graphical interface of Android Auto to the public. In addition to what has just been described, we remind you that Coolwalk should offer an interface that supports different apps featured, complete with music widgets. We will come back to update you as soon as we know more about its release.
