Android ready to receive new features: new widgets on tablets and “automatic emojis” in messages

Android 13 has been around for just over three weeks, but Google is already thinking about the next news coming to its operating system: with a post on your blogthe company has in fact talked about the features currently in development and that will soon be able to be used by all Android and Chromebook users.

The first novelty concerns the communication between smartphone and Chromebook: Google is in fact working on several improvements to Nearby Share, a function that allows you to send photos or files to nearby devices. In particular, it will be possible in the future exchange files between your devices much fasterwithout the need to accept the transfer on the device that is receiving the file, even when this is with the screen off.

Gboard then prepares to receive an interesting novelty for all those who use emojis a lot: on the Google keyboard there is in fact the button Emojifywhich essentially allows you to automatically add emojis in the text of your message, obviously based on the context. This feature is currently available in the Gboard Beta app in English, but we do not know when it will also be available for the Italian language.

Google also announced that it has added new combinations for Emoji Kitchen and that it will soon be possible play UNO and other minigames or watch a YouTube video with your friends via video call on Google Meet with your friends (we talked about it in this article).

News also coming to smartwatches Wear OS: The new Keep tile will soon be introduced, which will allow users to Quickly dictate a note or list right from your wrist and manage notes already created on other devices.
