These news come from the team of Lineage OSthe custom ROM currently most popular in the Android landscape. This time we are not talking about smartphones but about Raspberry Pi 4the latest generation of the well-known minimalist PC series.
Perhaps not everyone knows that Raspberry Pi 4 is also compatible with operating systems derived from Android, such as Android TV. Architecture ARM on which the Raspberry device is based is in fact compatible with Android. This prompted the developer KonstaTSenior Member of the XDA forum, to develop a ROMs for Raspberry Pi 4 based on Android TV 13.
The ROM in question is derived from the code of the Lineage OS 20, itself based on the Android 13 AOSP code recently shared to the public by Google. The ROM seems to work quite wellas long as you have at least 2 GB of RAM available.
Are also compatible the Google apps installable as independent packages.
Clearly the process of installation and launch of the custom ROM with Android TV 13 on Raspberry Pi 4 it doesn’t appear to be simple. So if you intend to try your hand at the same job, we suggest you refer to published guide from the developer on the XDA forum.
