A few seconds later (at eight minutes and 16) the Core stage will separate from Orion, letting the Icps and the capsule proceed, one attached to the other. Orion and the second stage will be located 160 kilometers from Earth, at a speed of about 28,000 kilometers per hour.

It will be the engine of the Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage to push Orion towards the Moon, accelerating it up to 40 thousand kilometers per hour, enough to overcome Earth’s gravity and take the capsule beyond the low orbit of our planet. Therefore, two hours and six minutes after the lift-offthe second stage will free Orion. From that moment, accompanied only by the European service module, the spaceship will take about a week to reach the lunar orbit and, once there, the series of flyby intended to test the equipment and communication systems, in particular with the radio antennas of the Deep Space Network, consisting of three stations in Australia, California and Spain. On the twenty-sixth day of mission Orion will arrive in 450 thousand kilometers from Earththe maximum distance reached by a vehicle designed for human transport (the previous record, of the battered Apollo 13 capsule, will be broken already eleven days after launch).

But first, as written 3 hours and 40 before take-off, it will start the release sequence of cubesat, which will last for five hours: the first five satellites will be launched simultaneously, together with Argomoon. The others will release one at a time at regular intervals, until the last one, CuSp, which will study the solar wind and the magnetic field and which will separate eight hours and three minutes after the lift-off
