Audi has also revised some features of the 12.3-inch digital instrument display. For example, we will find a gear shift indicator when the transmission is used in manual mode.
As for the engine of the Audi RS 6 Avant and Audi RS 7 Sportback, a 4.0L TFSI twin-turbo V8, the house with the 4 rings declares an increase of 30 HP thanks to the presence of new larger turbochargers and the increase in boost pressure from 2.4 to 2.6 bar. So, the thruster passes from 441 kW (600 hp) to 463 kW (630 hp). Torque, on the other hand, rises from 800 to 850 Nm.
Speaking of performance, performance models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The engine is mated to an eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission featuring new software for quicker gear changes. Furthermore, Audi has revised the functioning of the driving modes that can be selected via Drive Select.
For the performance version, Audi has reduced the sound-absorbing panels between the engine compartment, the passenger compartment and the rear of the vehicle to enhance the sound of the engine inside the car. This work also made it possible to save 8 kg. The Audi RS 6 Avant performance has a gross curb weight of 2,090 kg, the RS 7 Sportback performance 2,065 kg.

As an alternative, the manufacturer offers special 22-inch wheels with five split spokes which, compared to the standard ones, make it possible to reduce the suspended masses by 20 kg.
As standard, the performance models can count on the RS Dynamic package. This means that we find the steering rear axle, the quattro sport rear differential and the maximum speed raised to 280 km/h. On request it is possible to have the RS Dynamics plus package which increases the maximum speed to 305 km/h and introduces a carbon ceramic braking system.
