Air fryers have been one of the must-have products in 2022, thanks to their ability to cook food quickly, with less fat, while being more energy efficient than other appliances. The Tefal actifry model featured in our review of the best air fryers and left our tester noting it made some of the “best chips we cooked in all our tests”.

Virgin Media is known for its impressive deals during Black Friday – and this year it has pulled out all the stops.

It’s an 18-month contract, and you’ll save £540 over the duration. However, it does rocket up in price when the contract comes to an end, so we’d potentially start looking around closer to the end of your contract, as you’ll have to pay £91 per month when the 18 months are up.

The latest MacBook air with the M2 chip has been reduced by a healthy £60 this Black Friday. Launched in July this year, it’s thinner and lighter than the previous MacBook air, has a redesigned keyboard and sees the return of a fan-favourite feature: MagSafe charging. “The M2 processor is noticeably faster than the already barnstorming M1 and the battery life remains outstanding,” our writer said in their review of the laptop. “The new MacBook air shines because of its superb light weight and bright display, its great keyboard and fast performance, and its sheer drop-dead glorious design.”

New York-based fitness company Peloton has taken the world by storm thanks to its high-tech at-home spin bikes, which are loved by the likes of Barack and Michelle Obama and Leonardo DiCaprio. But will it be taking part in Black Friday?

Well, last year, it did. So that’s a fairly good indication that it will be offering some hefty deals this year. As for what you can expect, in 2021, it reduced the Peloton bike by £300, so fingers crossed it’ll do the same this year.

The date of Black Friday 2022 in the UK is 25 November. But, for most brands and retailers, the sale spans the weekend until the following Monday, known as Cyber Monday.

There’s £200 off this excellent gaming laptop at Currys this Black Friday. Generally speaking, you don’t often see laptops running on the RTX 3060 graphics card for less than around £900, so the Gigabyte G5 KD was already great value – and that was before it was discounted to £699. The specs are about a year old, but this will happily run every new release at smooth framerates, and crack through processor-intensive jobs like video rendering at a decent speed.
