Jeff Grubba veteran of the gaming industry who has built a trustworthy reputation as a leaker in recent years, says that EA Games would be working on a new title based on Black Pantherthe African superhero of the house Marvel. According to the journalist, the project is still in its infancy, which is why the announcement is still a long way off.

In the last episode of Game Mess Mornings of Giant Bomb, Grubb teased what a new title should be single player dedicated to the superhero of the Wakanda. It would be an adventure in which we will have to face numerous challenges to succeed the hero in black who fell at the beginning of the game.

According to him, EA Games’ goal is to replicate the success achieved with Jedi: Fallen Order of Respawn, the sequel of which was announced at the end of May. Of course, the information is rather limited as the title is still in an embryonic stage of development.

The rumors, however, believe that it is the game that EA is referring to Project Rainer. The codename might come from Mount Rainer in Washington state. In this case it is possible that the title is made by new EA Games studio in Seattle led by Kevin Stephens.

Stephens joined EA in May and it was confirmed at the time that he would be working on a new venture open world. The former boss of Monolith Production has already worked on adventures of the caliber of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War. All this would be in line with what Grubb said, even if any confirmation will take a long time.
