Bowers & Wilkins announced the evolution of its PX7 headphones, a high-end model intended for mobility without sacrificing audio quality. The new Bowers & Wilkins PX7 s2 take advantage of a new 40 mm biocellulose diffuserderived from those used on the 800 series speakers, along with extended battery life and active noise cancellation.
In this regard, the PX7 s2 are equipped with ben 6 microphones, four of which are dedicated to noise cancellation and two are dedicated to voice capture during calls. Noise cancellation can be stopped using the mode ambient pass-throughwhich allows you to play ambient sounds with headphones so that, for example, you can hear announcements in places such as stations or airports.
Connection to a source device can be either via Bluetooth 5.0, or via USB-C cable or via the classic 3.5 mm jack cable. In the latter case, however, it must be pointed out that it is still necessary for the battery to have some residual charge for the headphones to work.
Autonomy is estimated at 30 hours with a full charge, which takes two hours, while with 15 minutes of charging, you can get two hours of music playback.
The Bowers & Wilkins PX7 s2 are available now with an MSRP of € 429 in the three variants black, blue and gray.
