Brabus has already worked on the latest generation of the Mercedes S-Class. This time, however, the German tuner has decided to get his hands on the even more exclusive Maybach version. Brabus therefore took the Mercedes Maybach S 580 to give it a slightly more aggressive aesthetic character and a more powerful engine. The result of this work is the Brabus 600.
POWER AND LUXURY
For the Maybach, the German tuner has developed a special body kit with carbon fiber elements. As Brabus explains, the new body kit has not only aesthetic but also aerodynamic functions. For example, the front splitter was developed in the wind tunnel to reduce lift on the front axle and improve airflow to the front brakes and radiators. Behind, the new large diffuser and the new tailpipes specific to this car also stand out.
We also find new ones 22-inch alloy wheels Monoblock M “Platinum Edition” with 265/35 ZR22 Pirelli P Zero tires at the front and 305/30 ZR22 at the rear. Brabus also revised the Maybach’s set-up, lowering the ground clearance by 20 mm. All this to improve the dynamics of a car which, remember, is 5.47 meters long and was created to offer comfort on long journeys and a lot of luxury.
For the interiors, Brabus has chosen Turquoise Blue leather upholstery. There is no shortage of carbon fiber finishes. Of course, all those Maybach-exclusive refinements are present. In any case, customers will be able to intervene as they wish, going so far as to customize every single detail of the passenger compartment. Obviously, the only limit is the budget available.
Speaking, instead, of the engine, the 4-liter twin-turbo V8 of the Mercedes Maybach S 580 has been revised to deliver 600 HP of power with 800 Nm of torque. The gearbox is a 9-speed automatic. The car also has four-wheel drive. As for performance, the maximum speed it is electronically limited to 250 km / h. To go from 0 to 100 km / h, on the other hand, it takes 4.5 seconds.
