Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune is looking young Science / Engineering graduates for a position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work under the DRDO Project entitled “Electrically Tuneable 3 -3.45μm Quantum Cascade Laser for LiDAR Application”and “Design and Development of THz Quantum Cascade Laser”. The last date for submission of applications is 31st December 2020.

Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years for JRF and 30 years for SRF.

✅ Monthly Stipend: ₹ 31000/- per month.

Educational Qualifications:

✔️ For JRF: Master degree in Physics/ Electronics Science/ Applied Physics/ Optics/ Photonics or equivalent, First Class with UGC/ CSIR-NET/ GATE.

✔️ For SRF: ME/ M.Tech/ M.Phil in Physics/ Electronics Science/ Applied Physics/ Laser & Elcetro-optics/ Laser Technology/ Applied Optics/ Photonics/ Opto-Electronics and Optical Communication/ Electronics Engg./ Electronics &Comm. Engg. or equivalent First Class with UGC/ CSIR-NET/ GATE.

✔️ Desirable: Should have good knowledge of Quantum mechanics, Computational physics, Laser Technology/ Fiber Laser/ Applied optics/ Micro & nano fabrication. Candidate with the Master dissertation in experimental nano photonics/ Silicon photonics using cleanroom tool will be preferred.
