Register and activate a new one photovoltaic system once it was a half nightmare, between bureaucratic quibbles and too many people involved, often unable to communicate with each other. More recently, things have gotten easier, shortening the time needed a lot, but only for smaller systems.
Now things will also change for the larger plants, thanks to the extension of the Single Simplified Model. The Ministry of Ecological Transition, with decree of last August 2has in fact extended the simplifications of procedures to systems up to 200 kW of nominal power.

According to the minister Cingolani, signatory of the decree, aims to speed up the activation of what has accumulated over time, precisely because of the bureaucratic delays. The standard applies to all photovoltaic systems up to 200 kW, built on buildings, structures and artifacts above ground, and related appurtenances. Also included in restricted propertiesbut in this case the photovoltaic cells must be integrated into the roof and therefore not be visible.
The simplification provides that the requesting subjects interface only with the network operator, and it will be the latter (in the event of a positive outcome of the checks before the works) who will send a copy of the Single Model to the Municipality and to the GSE, as well as upload the plant data on Terna’s Gaudì portal. In the same way, the subject will be directly charged for the connection costs of the system.
