A few months ago there were rumors about the possible arrival of a “Family” plan for Microsoft’s Xbox and PC Game Pass. That news wasn’t just that confirmedbut finally we also have all the details on the new plan that will allow share your subscription with four other players (for a total of 5 people).
One of the biggest doubts concerned which of the two plans (Standard or Ultimate) currently available would involve the new option. The testing phase initiated by Microsoft in Ireland And Colombia fills this void: the floor involved is theGame Pass Ultimate subscriptionwhich includes access from both platforms (PC and Console), access to console multiplayer features and the service EA Play.

As for the price, in Ireland it amounts to 21.99 euros and Insiders can already convert their subscriptions to the family plan. Basically, the monetary value of the remaining days of the already active plan is converted, to cover the cost of the new one. Taking an example: 30 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is converted to 18 days for that Family.
This allows users to update at any time your subscription, without having to wait for renewal. Of course, there will be limitations and in particular (at the moment) only one: all accounts linked to the plan must be located in the same country.

Considering the price of the Ultimate Individual Plan, which currently amounts to 12.99 euros per month for Italy, basically 5 subscriptions are received for the price of two, or rather less, making sharing much more interesting. The management is entrusted toprimary account that will have to invite friends or family to join for up to five users.
