More news coming for Google Discover, the Google feed very useful for browsing the news regarding your interests. These days, in fact, some users have already been implemented the possibility of better express their lack of interest in a specific topic and, therefore, to no longer see news focused on that theme.
In detail, by opening the menu next to the articles, the option now appears “I’m not interested in a topic”. For example, if you happen to read an article about a musician, you may not be interested in that particular artist, but you like music in general. Therefore, by applying this option, Google Discover will no longer show you news about that artist, while there will be no “veto” on music news.
Through this small novelty, Google aims to offer users a much more personalized system that is close to their tastes. Right now, the update is being implemented for both Android and iOS. Furthermore, again with regard to Google Discover, we point out that a few days ago another novelty was released: the ability to determine which YouTube videos to show in your feed.
In fact, until recently it was only possible to completely disable recommended videos. Now, however, the choices are much more customizable. In the case, the available options are: I don’t care about this item, I don’t care about this topic, don’t show content from this YouTube channel, and don’t show content from YouTube. This update – which always aims to improve the user experience – is also being released these days for both Android and iOS.
