We often talk about the concept of beta in the Android world, with the smartphones who can make use of different beta versions, starting from those for the operating system up to those relating to the individual ones, to try out new features in preview. Today we talk about QPR of Android 13.

In fact, in the last few hours Google has released the second QPR of Android 13. It’s about the version T2B3.230109.002 of the firmware, which includes a fairly important series of bug fixes and some minor novelty for end users. Among the most important problems that have been solved we find the display errors of the banner relating to the connection VPNsincorrect display of some elements in the Quick Tiles and what made it unnatural vibration following the receipt of a new notification.

In addition to this, other bugfixes have been introduced that concern problems with the Pixel Launcherat the status bar and al picture-in-Picture.

From the point of view of functional innovations we find very little, which it is not usual for a new QPR. As pointed out by Mishaal Rahman, some references to the Android 13 QPR2 are included renovation of the wallpaper selector from Google: as you can see from the example you find in the gallery, the new selector will propose the background immediately to full screen even in the preview section. This will facilitate the customization of the same.

The new Android 13 QPR is currently being rolled out automatically via OTA to all those who have joined the beta program. We remind you that QPRs are Android beta releases reserved for Pixelswith which Google tests the new features which it then introduces every three months with stable updates called Feature Drops.
