Henry Cavill towards the Warhammer 40,000 series

In the past few hours, however, a resounding turnaround: the new course of DC Studios led by James Gunn and Peter Safran foresees a story about a younger Clark Kent and therefore will no longer make use of Cavill’s contribution, while Netflix has made it known that this latest turn will not subvert the change of baton against Hemsworth. Cavill, however, will not remain unemployedif one can say so.

As reported by Hollywood ReportersIndeed, Cavill could in fact be the producer and the protagonist of the TV series that Amazon Studios will get from the game Warhammer 40,000, given that the negotiations to acquire the rights to the futuristic wargame are nearing completion. It is known that the actor is a full-blown nerd and, as evidenced by his posts on social media, he had spent the lockdown building computers to play video games and paint miniatures of Warhammer. The #ProperGeekas he defines himself, said that game is one of his “lifelong hobbies”.

Now that the possibility of an adaptation from Warhammer 40,000 is becoming more and more concrete probably for Henry Cavill, despite the bitterness of a daring and unexpected departure from the role of Superman, a I dream so long I wait. Precisely, however, the deal between Amazon and the rights holders is not yet concluded but the involvement of Cavill, authentic and faithful fans of the gaming sagacould put the big load that would convince even the most undecided.
