We are talking about the possibility of customize size of the windows of the various Android Auto apps on the car screen. We know well that of default these dimensions are set automatically by the system based on the screen size of the car. But it’s actually possible”trick” the system for changing the chosen dimensions.

It is indeed about change the PPE associated with the display being used. The default DPI value clearly varies according to the car screen you use.

Android Auto DPI change it is not easy, unless you have a dongle complete with associated app, such as AAWireless. For example, with the AAWireless app it is possible to customize the DPI very simply:

1. Connect your smartphone to the garage with AAWireless.
2. Open the app AAWireless on your smartphone.
3. Log in to settings marked with the wheel icon in the upper right corner.
4. Scroll down and select Change DPI.
5. Enter the chosen value, the value 0 matches the default. We suggest you start with 150 and then drop to lower values.
