Given the excellent feedback from Mario Kart Live there’s a new game that mixes real and virtual starring none other than the Hot Wheels toy cars. L’arcade racing prepared by Velan Studios and Mattel will be called Hot Wheels Rift Rally and will see the light in March, debuting not on Nintendo Switch like the predecessor but for the moment on iOS and on Ps4 and Ps5. The game modes will be very similar to those of the version starring Super Mario, but adapted to the world of small toy cars, therefore with a focus above all on evolutions.
The appointment for the release of Hot Wheels Rift Rally is already marked for the next March 14 with two versions of which for the moment only the American price is known which will be 129.99 dollars for the basic box and 149.99 for the one with some extras yet to be discovered. In the package there will be checkpoint doors to be placed in the house to create the circuit as desired and a radio-controlled car called Chameleon RC Car which in digital representation can transform into over 140 different Hot Wheels modelsfrom the Rift Rally series to the famous Twin Mill, Bone Shaker, Mach Speeder and Gotta Go. As well as in Super Mario Kart Live even with the Hot Wheels version there will be various game modes such as the campaign in which you will have to complete circuits in the best possible time, the circuit passing rigorously under the gates up to the acrobatic one in which you they will have to perform evolutions to get the highest possible scores.
As it is natural to imagine will be supported also the multiplayer with more toy cars to challenge each other connected simultaneously to console or iPhone as well as graphic elements that will be displayed on the screen with scores, ranking positions or materials to collect. As for Mario Kart Live, the latest updates have brought innovations such as new competitions starring Luigi, split-screen for multiplayer and more cars and doors so it is more than possible that the Hot Wheels version will also be updated gradually with new elements both physical and software side all to be discovered.
