Microsoft announced the start of the Windows 11 2022 deployment (also known as Windows 11 22H2) on systems with compatible hardware. From now on, therefore, possible install it via Windows Update on early systemsor force installation via ISO or other tools. On this page we explain how to do it.

How to install Windows 11 2022 (or 22H2) right away
The lucky ones could receive Windows 11 2022 simply through the canonical update via Windows Update. If your compatible system and Microsoft’s AI systems consider it safe to install Windows 11 2022 on it, the update may be available on the Windows Update screen (Settings> Update & Security> Windows Update). If available for your system, Windows 11 will appear among the applicable updates. After clicking on Download and install the procedure will start: finally, it is necessary to follow the last instructions on the screen to complete the operation and use Windows 11 2022 on your PC.
The same procedure can be performed on both systems with Windows 11 and systems with Windows 10. Not all computers will receive Windows 11 2022 on day-oneon the contrary, we believe it is more likely that very few will receive it automatically on their system in the first weeks. There are, however, tricks to install it right away.
Install Windows 11 2022 with the Installation Assistant or Media Creation Tool
The new tool Windows 11 Installation Assistant (download link) does it all: checks the hardware compatibility of the new operating system and, if the PC is suitable, presents the screen with the license terms. By selecting the option Accept and install the tool prepares for installation and then asks you to restart your computer.
The procedure with Media Creation Tool remains possible, which we had already seen with Windows 10 and the original version of Windows 11. The tool allows not only to install the new OS manually on the PC in use, but also to create a USB key or a DVD bootable. Once we have the bootable drive, we can also install Windows 11 on different PCs.
To do this, you need to download the Media Creation Tool from this address, run it and choose between the two items: Update your PC now, Create installation media for another PC. Forupgrade to Windows 11 2022 just select the first item, while with the second item you can create an installation media on a USB stick, DVD or save the ISO on the storage system. Once the download is finished click Accept and make sure the entryKeep personal files and appsis selected. Then click onInstall. The system will reboot several times, and eventually you will have Windows 11 2022 on your PC.
