Job
Responsibilities
1. Set-up and operate HAAS CNC Vertical Mills 2. Programming of CNC and VMC machines 3. Prepare raw materials to be loaded into machines 4. Prepare tools from set up sheet 5. Clean and maintain equipment and work area as needed 6. Use of manual machines (mill & lathe) 7. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations 8. Computing dimensions and tolerances measure and lay out work pieces. 9. Setting up, operating, repair and maintenance of various types of conventional machines tools. 10. Performing Conventional & CNC Machining such as Milling, Drilling, Turning, Tapping, Grinding, and Sawing. 11. Verifying dimensions of completed parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications. 12. Handling various types of measuring instruments such as Vernier callipers, Micrometers, Depth Gauges, Pin gauge, Slip Gauge etc.
