JEE Main February 1 Paper Analysis: Students say overall exam balanced, Maths lengthy in Shift 1

NEW DELHI: The JEE Main 2023 Session 1 has concluded today, on February 1 as the last day examination is over for both the shifts. After the exam, JEE Main aspirants shared their initial reactions for the paper. As per students, JEE Main February 1 question paper was ‘Moderate to easy’ in terms of difficulty level.
Education experts and students said that Shift 1 paper was overall balanced. However, the Mathematics paper took students’ most of the time as that section was lengthy.
Students rated Physics as the easiest section in the Day 6 exam. Chemistry was said to be moderate as per the difficulty level.

JEE Main February 1 Exam Physics Analysis
Physics is said to be the easiest section in the exam by many aspirants. It had 30 questions in total. The Section-I of the paper had 20 multiple choice questions (MCQs) with single correct answer and Section-II comprised 10 numerical based questions, of which candidates were supposed to attempt only 5 questions.

JEE Main Chemistry exam had 30 questions in total – Section 1 contained 20 multiple choice questions (MCQs) with single correct answer and Section 2 comprised 10 numerical based questions, of which only 5 questions were to be answered.
JEE Main February 1 Mathematics Exam Analysis
JEE Main 2023 Mathematics exam contained a total of 30 questions – Section-I of the paper comprised 20 multiple choice questions (MCQs) with single correct answer and Section-II of the paper had 10 numerical-based questions and candidates had to answer only 5 out of it.

JEE Main January Session 2023 was conducted on January 24, 25, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2023 at various examination centres across the country and outside of India.
