Jeep Avenger officially debuts at the Paris Motor Show. The Electric B-SUV can be pre-ordered as of today (until November 30) in a special Launch Edition. Official prices for the Italian market, at the moment, they are not yet available. However, Quattroruote reports that the starting price will be under 30 thousand euros with incentives (less than 40 thousand with incentives for the launch edition). In the course of 2023 it will also be available with a turbo petrol engine. The B-SUV, as known, will be produced at the Tychy plant in Poland.

DESIGN AND INTERIORS


We already know everything about the look of the Jeep Avenger as the B-SUV has appeared in its final forms many times over. Now, the brand has added that its new model it will be 4.08 m long, which is 16 cm shorter than the Jeep Renegade. This new car is also characterized by reduced overhangs and a ground clearance of 200 mm. The new Jeep also features 20 degrees of attack, 32 degrees of exit and 20 degrees of bump.


It should be noted that to underline the possibility of being able to tackle “demanding” roads without problems, we also find a skid plate and other measures to protect the mechanical parts. The manufacturer points out that its new B-SUV can also count on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Finally, let’s take a look at the interior. Inside, we find an essential design. The digital instruments (7 or 10.25 inches) and the infotainment system with central touch display 10.25 inch. Present supports for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Navigation is entrusted to a system based on TomTom. The lower part of the dashboard features a large opening storage compartment. Overall, there are storage compartments in the passenger compartment for a total capacity of 34 liters. The trunk, on the other hand, has one capacity of 380 liters. Obviously, through the Jeep Mobile app it will be possible to remotely manage the car.

ENGINE AND SAFETY


As we had imagined, the Jeep Avenger has the same powertrain that we have seen making its debut lately on some electric models of the Stellantis Group (Peugeot in particular). So, we have a 115 kW (156 hp) engine with 260 Nm of torque. The services have not yet been communicated. Traction, however, is front.

The powertrain is powered by a 54 kWh battery which allows an autonomy of up to 400 km according to the WLTP cycle. Distance that rises to 550 km in the urban cycle. Speaking of recharging, the accumulator can make a full charge of direct current energy up to a power of 100 kW (from 20 to 80% in 24 minutes). In alternating current, on the other hand, it can recharge up to 11 kW.


The new Avenger is the first front-wheel drive Jeep vehicle equipped as standard with Selec-Terrain and Hill Descent Control. The Selec-Terrain system offers six modes: “Normal”, “Eco”, “Sport”, “Snow”, “Mud” and “Sand”.

Speaking of safety, the Jeep Avenger features, among other things, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering, traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist recognition and Lane Keeping Assist.

LAUNCH EDITION


The exclusivity Jeep Avenger 1st Edition offers a particularly rich standard equipment and only in Italy and Spain will it also be available with a turbo petrol engine. It can only be ordered online. It is characterized by the two-tone Sun or Granite livery with Volcano roof or in solid Volcano color.

The standard equipment includes, among other things, multicolored ambient lights, heated windscreen, infotainment with 10.25-inch screen, wireless charging for the smartphone and all ADAS systems to have a Level 2 driver assistance system.
