At the end of September, Lamborghini had finished production of the Aventador supercar. The latest example of the supercar equipped with the V12 engine would go to a Swiss customer. Now, the manufacturer has made it known that this car, ready to be delivered to its owner, is a very special roadster. In fact, it has been customized through the Ad Personam program to make homage to the one-off Miura Roadster.
A TRIBUTE TO THE PAST
Lamborghini says that the bodywork of its supercar is in Flake Blue, a color specially designed to replicate that of the Miura. The manufacturer adds that the cover has been colored in Grigio Liqueo with a light striping in Nero Aldebaran. The rear engine compartment hood, made of carbon fiber, has been painted in glossy black.
The brand then adds that the livery of the Aventador has been further customized with black-colored air intakes on the hood that emulate the large black-painted air intakes of the Miura. THE tailpipes are in matt blackwhile the rims of the Ultimae in shiny silver with black brake calipers recall the original silver rims mounted on the Miura.
Personalization has also concerned the interiors. The seats in Bianco Leda leather with black Aldebaran details behind the headrests are inspired by those of the Miura. The dashboard in Black Ade Alcantara with White Leda stitching features Miura embroidery.
Finally, the car manufacturer recalls that the Miura P400 Roadster that inspired the look of the last example of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae, was presented at the Brussels Motor Show in April 1968. After changing several owners and having received several modifications, in 2008 it was restored and returned to its original configuration.
