As you can guess from the name, this one limited edition was conceived by Seal (Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel) who is a well-known Grammy Award-winning singer, composer and who has a passion for photography. As written by the German manufacturer “the special edition set celebrates the human connection in the art of taking a photograph, playing with light on the subjects of a shot and painting unique perspectives for the artist behind the lens”.
Leica Q2 ” Dawn ” by Seal therefore has in the outer area the woven Japanese fabric of the Hosoo brand that has been made in such a way that i 500 specimens products are unique to each other. Its structure is made of black thread (93% polyester) and gold Japanese paper (7% washi). The logo of the German brand in this case is black and not red and there is also Seal’s signature in addition to the serial number.
To make this set even more special, it is then present in pack one scarf with the lyrics of Seal handwritten, made by the artist Annina Roescheisen. The characters are gold on a black background that recall the colors used for the camera grip. The brand that made it is the US one rag & bone but the realization is entrusted to an Italian firm.
