Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd Gen) review
Lenovo undoubtedly has a long history of Android tablets, having also gained some authority over the past few years. This is the third-generation M10 Plus, the company’s latest mid-range tablet.
Construction and Ergonomics

Lenovo certainly gives the best of itself from a constructive point of view and on this M10 Plus third generation is no exception. Despite being a low-end device this is made almost entirely of aluminum, with a rubberized plastic band on the back that increases its grip and also contains the lenovo logo with a metal plate, to increase the feeling of quality. The tablet is then just 7.45 mm thin and weighs 465 grams, not much for the size. If you want to spend the right amount and have a rugged tablet, you’ve probably just found it.
Hardware

Where Lenovo has inevitably made some sacrifices is in the technical specifications. We have a processor Helio G80 octa core 2 GHz, a Mali G52 MC2 GPU and only 4 GB of RAM. Better than the 3 of the previous version, but still certainly not a huge leap forward. The internal memory is 64 GB and is in eMMC 5.1 technology. It’s not a lot and it’s not super fast either. Fortunately, you can opt for a version with double the internal memory and also expand it through the use of a microSD. As for connectivity, we have Wi-Fi B.C, Bluetooth 5.0 and also GPS. Incredibly, we also find support for FM radio which is enabled only by connecting a pair of headphones to the 3.5 mm audio jack. The stereo sound provided by the four speakers is very good. On the audio part Lenovo was not content.
Too bad for the coupled processor and RAM, which make the experience of using the tablet a bit “slowed down”. In some cases, opening apps may require some patience, as it is not uncommon to see slowdowns in the system interface.
Display

Inside this third generation M10 Plus Lenovo has included a panel 10.6-inch IPS with 2K resolution (1200 x 2000 pixels). Although it is not one of the brightest displays around, it is still an excellent example and perfect for home use. The high definition guarantees a pleasant viewing of your favorite multimedia contents. In addition, the screen supports double-tap awakening and lifting.
Software
Lenovo includes in this tablet Android to version 12 updated at the moment with the patches of July 2022, not bad for the world of tablets where updates are often forgotten. The company guarantees at least Android 13 as a future update. The software, as we have already said, is not the most responsive, but it is still interesting because it is essentially a version of Android like Google thought it on a tablet, with the very rare implementation of Entertainment Space and Kids Space, two sections for entertainment and for the little ones, which slightly simplify the use of videos or use by children. We then have a handy reading mode that converts the screen to black / white (or slightly color) for less reading fatigue.
Autonomy
The battery from 7,700 mAh is capable of making the tablet last at least two / three days without any problem with average use. The power consumption of the chosen processor is very low and overall it is still difficult to stress the device with too heavy operations. There charging is at 20Walthough unfortunately only a 10W power supply is included in the package.
Price
Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd generation) is sold to € 229, which become € 259 in the version with 128 GB of internal memory which is certainly more suitable for practically any type of use. By the way it is the only version you can find on Amazon.

Final judgement
Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd Gen)
Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd generation is a great mono task tablet. Quickly opening and closing various apps could become a borderline frustrating operation. But if your use is to open an app and use it continuously, this tablet will give you great satisfaction, thanks to the excellent screen, the excellent audio, the good build quality and its subtlety. All obviously to be related to its selling price.
