If something works, stop trying to fix it. Seems simple enough, but it’s an adage that certain elements of our current administration somehow fail to grasp.
Our nation was founded upon certain inalienable principles, responsibilities and rights. No one has the right or the power to overstep the basic laws laid down by those men of moral and intellectual might who risked everything they possessed, including their lives, to grant to us these freedoms.
Though we must obey the laws of the land, there also exists a responsibility on the part of government to merit and obey the same laws that direct the lives of “We the People.”
