Lucid Motors opens a new store in Oslo. Deliveries in Europe have already started

After the opening of Munich, Geneva and Hilversum (near Amsterdam), Lucid Motors opens the doors of its fourth European storehow many times in the “electric capital”, Oslo.

In Norway electric cars constantly sell around 80% of those registered, and it was therefore natural that the next stage of the American manufacturer should be this. Moreover, this is the first opening in one of the Nordic countries, all of which are in any case well-prepared for electric cars.

For Lucid also comes a new Managing Director for Europewhich is Michael van der Sande, who will report the results directly to CEO Peter Rawlinson. His office will be at the Amsterdam headquarters.

Just van der Sande commented on the new opening: “We are delighted to open this brand new studio in Oslo, Norway, a country at the forefront of EV adoption and charging infrastructure“. The European number one comes from thirty years of experience in the sectorincluding managing director roles of special vehicle operations for Jaguar Land Rover, or in the marketing and service department of Tesla.

In the meantime deliveries have started in Europe of the super-powerful luxury sedan Air, with the first examples going to German customers. Small numbers for now, but they will be part of Lucid’s global expansion, which will gradually have to get out of the situation of constant spending recorded so far, such as in the last quarter in which it lost something like 1 billion dollars.
