Here comes a new one restomod based on the Lancia Delta Integrale. Let’s talk about the Mature Street made by Maturo Competition Cars, a Dutch company. The aim of this project is to offer the performance of a rally car inside a car approved for use on the road. It seems that only 10 units of this car will be produced. There is no pricing information yet.

The project plans to propose the car with a design that follows the original one, without any particular distortions. We find, in fact, are some small tweaks, such as the new rear wing and the new front splitter. There bodywork is made of carbon fiber. As for the cabin, the interior has been redesigned. The dashboard, for example, while maintaining the shape of the original one, integrates new instrumentation and new controls.

We also find carbon monocoque seats and Alcantara upholstery. The company has carried out the greatest work at the level of mechanics in order to offer very high performance. Maturo Competition Cars started from the base of the Lancia Delta Integrale 16V. The frame has been reinforced and a specially made roll bar has also been applied which helps to increase stiffness. The use of materials such as carbon fiber made it possible to make the car lighter than the original model. On the scale comes to weigh 1,190 kg.

Speaking of the engine, the original unit has been deeply revised with the aim of reach 360 hp of power offering, at the same time, also the maximum reliability for road use. The 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder now adopts more modern components. We find, for example, a larger intercooler, a carbon airbox and a rebuilt and revised version of the original Garrett turbo. There are also lighter valves, forged connecting rods, forged pistons and modern injectors.

The 5-speed gearbox which the Dutch company points out to be notoriously “fragile”, has been heavily revised. Mature Competition Cars has also redesigned the car’s 3 differentials. The new braking system features 330mm front and 282mm rear discs. The trim has also been revised with the introduction of four-way adjustable shock absorbers. Optionally, a system will also be available that allows the height from the ground to be adjusted hydraulically.
