Day of big announcements for Paramount, which after confirming the arrival date of Top Gun: Maverick for streaming viewing by Paramount+ subscribers, also let it be known that Metallica’s next benefit concert will be broadcast exclusively on the same service.
The event will be entitled Helping Hands and will be organized for the benefit of foundation All Within My Hands (in SOURCE) created by the band itself. The concert will be streamed in the US and Canada on Friday, December 16. But don’t worry! Although with a little delay it will also be visible in the United Kingdom, Latin America, ItalyGermany, Switzerland, Austria and France Saturday 17th Decemberwhile in Australia on Sunday 18 December and South Korea in 2023. The concert will also be simulcast on Pluto TV globally and on YouTube.
The third annual Helping Hands Concert & Auction will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and will open with a special set by guest group, Greta Van Fleet, followed by the main show, Metallica.
Founded in Established in 2017, the foundation All Within My Hands of Metallica works with partners around the world to fight food insecurity, provide funds in areas prone to natural disasters and support education with the innovative Metallica Scholars Initiative, now in its fourth year.
The good news is that 100% of donations go directly to AWMH’s charitable partners, and as it has been since its inception, Metallica covers all administrative costs. To date, the collective efforts of All Within My Hands they collected nearly 12 million dollarsproviding $5.9 million in grants to vocational and technical training programs, more than $2.5 million to combat food insecurity, and more than $3.3 million for disaster relief.
We just have to wait for December 17 to be able to see the concert on Paramount +, however it is not excluded that the event will also be visible later through other channels, such as Youtube and Pluto TV, but we have no certain communications on the matter. As reported in the original news, Paramount+ has announced the third annual METALLICA: THE HELPING HANDS CONCERT concert, available in Italy from today 17 December on Paramount+.
In Italy the event will also be broadcast on MTV Music (Sky channel 132 and 704) on Wednesday 28 December from 9.00 pm, on MTV (Sky channel 131 and streaming on NOW) on Saturday 31 December from 10.50 pm and on VH1 (channel 167 DTT, 22 Tivùsat and Sky channel 715) Sunday 1 January at 21.00. The event will also be streamed live on Pluto TV starting at 2.30am on Saturday 17th December.
The concert, in support of the founding of the band All Within My Hands, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and will open this new edition with a special set by guest Greta Van Fleet, followed by a one-off performance by Metallica. Established in 2017, Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation works with partners around the world to combat food shortages, provide financial resources in areas affected by natural disasters, and support education through the innovative Metallica Scholars Initiative, jointly in its fourth edition.
