Milan, a company opens its doors to the district

A series of meetings to raise awareness on the issue ofwaterbut also to open the spaces of the new headquarters to the city: it is Freestylethe new project of the group Drinking water consortium (Cap) from Milan. The meetings to be held in space Ark, the new headquarters of the Consortium in via Rimini 38, a few steps from the Romolo station, are scheduled for the months of September and October and will end in the first week of November. During the events, citizens will be able to get closer to the spaces of the new headquarters, which occupies 11 thousand square meters and can accommodate up to 500 people.

The Cap group has decided to open up to the Neighborhood: some parts of the building, in fact, are not intended only for employees, but also for citizens. A nursery not exclusively corporate, a bistro with a zero-impact kitchen, an auditorium and spaces for activities of clubbing and dj-set these are just some of the services that will be possible within the new space. “We have just inaugurated our ark, our new headquarters, starting from this awareness– explains Alessandro Russo, president and CEO of the group Postal Code -, we wanted it to be built in this area of ​​the city to become a point of reference“.

Freestyle is part of a larger urban regeneration plan based on a collaboration agreement between the Cap and the Municipality 6 of Milan, the Consortium of workers’ cooperatives,
Negro Servizi, Pcm Studio, Black Mamba, Super the festival of the suburbs and Roberto Coda Zabetta. A project is underway with Super “School yard”, which takes shape in the park of La Spezia, near the abandoned school. The installations will be visible until the spring of 2023, when the redevelopment of the entire area will then begin – and a documentary with Henrik Blomqvist.

The first meeting of Freestyle it will be held on 14 September, with an opening lecture with Vito Mancuso, while the project will end with the intervention of the art historian Jacopo Veneziani on 3 November. Among the famous names of the participants there are also those of the actor Valerio Aprea, the athlete Valentina Rodini and the actress and director Sonia Bergamasco.
