It’s only been a few weeks since the release of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, Google’s brand new smartphones that feature the proprietary Tensor G2 chip, but it seems the company has no intention of stopping: in the source code of Android, references to a mysterious have been discovered “Pixel G10”with some technical specifications supplied.

The discovery is due to the tipster Kuba Wojciechowski: the Pixel G10 will be a smartphone with a screen in resolution 3120 x 1440 pixels and dimensions of 155 mm in height and 71 mm in width. These measurements correspond exactly to the 6.7-inch panel that we find on the Pixel 7 Proand even the radius of the curvature of the edges of the display seems to be comparable to that of the top of the Google range.

From the code, it is also noted that the Pixel G10 will mount displays produced by BOE: the manufacturer is famous for being the supplier of the displays of some iPhones, so this suggests that the device will be high-end.

Furthermore, Google talks about Qualcomm as supplier of the fingerprint sensor under the display, the same one we find on the Pixel 7 Pro.

It is difficult to understand what this Pixel G10 is: in the past, some rumors spoke of two smartphones, with code names Felix And Lynx, in development by Google, but it is not clear if this G10 matches one of the aforementioned devices. In any case, Pixel G10 is still in the very early stages of development, and therefore we will have to wait a little longer before learning more.

Pixel G10 could be a “Pixel Mini” or a “Pixel Ultra”: a few days ago, a rumor spoke of the possibility of seeing another smartphone from the Pixel 7 series in the coming months. For the more curious, we recommend taking a look at this article about it.
