Dbrand strikes again with another set of skins really brilliant, this time dedicated to Ninja Turtles and to Pixel 6: the combination was not chosen by chance because the design of the Google smartphone seems perfect for transforming into the four turtles. The back cover is green like the skin of the protagonists of the series, but the gem takes advantage of the protrusion that houses the cameras on the upper side of the back, coloring it like theiconic mask worn on the eyes by Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael.
After the funny Something cover that transforms various models of Android and iPhone smartphones into Nothing Phone 1, the creatives of Dbrand have announced another collection of skins this time dedicated to one of the most popular animation series of recent decades such as the Ninja Turtles. The product page could only be filled with a small dose of trolls in perfect Dbrand style: “Monetizing nostalgia is a huge business. Whether it’s a Netflix makeover of 80s classics, the renaissance of foldable cell phones, or the return of the Cold War, you’re constantly surrounded by memories of a bygone era that you’re probably too young to remember. So here we are. It’s 2022 and the company has run out of new ideas, choosing instead to constantly repackage the old ones. We want to cash in the same way“.

Everything was born from a tweet ironic last year which, however, had collected a great consensus, prompting the company to really make available a set of skins designed for Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, but also for the new Pixel 6a with the back that becomes a representation of faces of the four Ninja Turtles with red bands for Raphael, blue for Leonardo, orange for Michelangelo and purple for Donatello. You can already pre-order the skins on the official site for a price of approx 25 euros.
