A few days ago we told you about the new NIO factory in Hungary, in Biatorbgy, where the Chinese company now produces the battery exchange stations destined for European countries. This is because NIO wants to export its on-the-fly exchange model to the Old Continent as well, as it has already begun to do in Norway with the first two stations, already operational.
Precisely on the occasion of the inauguration of the new factory, we had also seen the first departure exchange station loaded on a truck, heading towards Germany. It seems to have arrived at its destination, since NIO has already installed and inaugurated itat the charging point in Zusmarshausen, between Munich and Stuttgart.
Congratulations to the entire NIO Power Team in Germany for launching the first #PowerSwapStation in @Zusmarshausen. This first Station will be able to make 312 battery swaps per day at Germany’s largest and most modern charging park. #BlueSkyComing #NIO #NIODeutscheland $ NIO pic.twitter.com/Hq0dcu3WOh

The station of the type 2.0, capable of carrying out up to 312 trades per day, thanks to the 13 batteries housed in the fully robotic spaces. From the images we see a NIO employee, who will probably assist customers in the early stages, as is the case in Norway.
This is because by the end of the year it will happen the German launch of the ET7 electric sedan, the same as seen in the photos, used for the first test of the exchange station. NIO currently has around 1,100 stations already installed in China, and wants to have over 4,000 stations by 2025, including 1,000 outside China.
