Chris Ramsey and his wife Julie will be the only members of an extreme expedition which should leave in about a month, and which will also feature the Nissan Ariya.
The couple will get on board the new electric car of the Japanese company, starting from the North Pole, with destination the South Polefor a journey of approx 27,000kmcrossing 14 different countries.

The car, anticipated with renderings some time ago, is now ready. The basis is a regular Ariya e-4FORCE, with the same battery and powertrain as the stock version, which has undergone only a few modifications to adapt it to the expected extreme routes. For recharging there will also be an experimental trailer with a wind turbine and photovoltaic panels.

There are new suspensions, matched with 39 inch tires, manufactured by BF Goodrich. Otherwise the car looks very similar to normal, with the exception of two uncommon details. Inside was mounted a espresso coffee machineon the precise will of Ramsey, while on the roof there is a drone that can take off from there and make spectacular shots.

After a short training period, the expedition should leave on an unspecified day in March, and everything can be followed on the dedicated site.
