Samsung Galaxy S23 was officially presented during the Unpacked event (follow it live with us on HDblog), and with it come the long-awaited Galaxy S23 Plus and the long-awaited Galaxy S23 Ultra, heir to the disappeared Note series effectively replaced by Galaxy S21 Ultra – the first compatible with S Pen, albeit external – and definitively from Galaxy S22 Ultra (with integrated S Pen).

No external upheaval this year, the Galaxy S23 range is characterized by continuity with the previous one but improving the details. The real changes are under the body and in performance: via the Exynos processor for the variant intended for our market and inside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, for the occasion re-proposed in a special “for Galaxy” version designed expressly for Samsung’s new Galaxy S range.

The other big news lies in the photographic capabilities, from the Ultra model with 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor (fresh presentation) to the function Nightography with transformative AI that unites all Galaxy S23 with which images and videos are sharper even in the most difficult light conditions and with a noise correction made possible by the new image signal processing algorithm based on artificial intelligence. The front camera has also undergone improvements with fast autofocus and Super HDR with 30 60fps.

Beyond the introduction of the unprecedented 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor on the Ultra, let’s summarize the differences compared to the previous generation:

• 360 audio recording available on Galaxy Buds 2 Pro

It was said at the beginning that it is the details that make the difference between the two Galaxy S22 and S23 series: think, for example, of the battery from 5,000mAh of S23 Ultra, which Samsung says it does last more than 20% more than S22 Ultra. The adoption of the latest generation Qualcomm mobile platform also improves the graphics performance, now more than 40% faster (again compared to S22 Ultra), e those of AI, also optimized by more than 40%.
