THE Samsung Galaxy S23 should lead to the debut of a further evolved One UI 5, we wrote it this morning. What we only now learn is that the user interface of the next top of the range, the One UI 5.1would already be in testing, someone says for a couple of weeks.
The Twitter account reports it SamSWUpdatewho accompanied the indiscretion with a screenshot of CheckFirm which also reads the build number for Galaxy S22: S908EXXU2CVL7/S908EOXM2CVL7/ S908EXXU2CVL7. The firmware would have been identified in the Samsung servers and, as mentioned, should debut on the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra.
A couple of days or weeks later it should appear on the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra, and then – we assume – on other top of the range including Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. Difficult to predict, because there are currently no hypotheses and assumptions, the what’s new in One UI 5.1 compared to the recent, indeed very recent, One UI 5.0.
However you can imagine that greater possibilities for customizing the lock screen may arrive and that Samsung integrates elements of Android 13 within its software “environment” that were left out of One UI 5.0. Little things, such as the new design of the media player widget in the notification area or the back gesture which should be further developed in Android 14. Would you like more?
