Confirmation of German ban of Oppo and OnePlus could cause a real Domino effect able to spread to many European markets, according to the latest rumors that are continuing to emerge and that see a Nokia more combative than ever, ready to take its demands even beyond the borders of Germany.

The question, which concerns the non-payment of some licenses relating to patents for 4G and 5Ghad already emerged in August, but it is only in recent days that a definitive turning point has been reached that has sanctioned the effective ban of Oppo and OnePlus – but other companies of the BBK group could also be involved – from Germany, while the same does not it happened with Motorola (Lenovo), which instead found an agreement with Nokia on the payment of the dues due, or i 2.50 euros per smartphone requested by the Finnish house.

Oppo and OnePlus have decided to appeal on the amount of the amount in question, however it seems that the sentence has taken a decidedly unfavorable turn for the BBK companies that led to the exclusion from the German market for both companies.

As we anticipated before, the question concerns the whole BBK group and could also have repercussions on other realities such as Vivo and Realme, even if at the moment there are no precise indications of initiatives undertaken also towards them, at least not in Germany.

However, it seems that Nokia is moving in this direction, since it seems to have the intention of defend its patents also in other European offices, in order to hit the companies of the BBK group even harder, as already happened in the Netherlands. In short, the specter of a possible European ban is becoming more and more concrete and probably the best solution for Oppo, OnePlus and the other companies in the group could be to find a financial agreement with Nokia before the situation deteriorates further.
