The ministry has ordered the National Sports Federations and the Sports Authority of India to arrange tutors for the players in the national camps. Players will get tuition for Maths, Science and English along with other subjects and for this tuition the tutor will get 15 thousand rupees every month. The ministry has also made it clear that the entire responsibility of the tutor will be with the sports federation or sports authority.

Decision taken after survey

The camps are of more than 90 days in the summer season and 45 days in the non-summer season. During the camp, the National Federation or Sports Authority will arrange for tuition for those players who need it.

According to the news of Times of India, the ministry conducted a survey of training centres, regional centers etc. and the only thing that came to light everywhere is that studies are affected due to choosing sports as a career.
