Poco X5 Pro is getting closer to launch: in the past few hours the photos of the sales package have been leaked on the Net. There really isn’t much to say: it’s a black box, with the device logo in the classic font and in the classic yellow color historically adopted by the brand. The back confirms the existence of a memory cut, the one that includes 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, and that a power supply is included in the packageplus a SIM clip and USB-C cable.

The smartphone should be launched, together with the “younger brother” Poco X5, within this month or at the latest in early February, but there is still a lot of uncertainty about its technical data sheet. It is particularly strange because they should both be rebranded Redmis – specifically Note 12 and Note 12 Pro, but apparently there will be some significant changes especially from the point of view of the SoC.

Little has officially confirmed that the Pro variant of the device will be launched in India on February 6th. It’s unclear at this stage whether or not there will be the regular model – the company may be interested in focusing its marketing campaign on the more prestigious of the two, but that seems like a pretty remote hypothesis.

The renderings of both models in various colors have been leaked, we report them below:

A Bulgarian online electronics retailer has published the technical specifications of both smartphones in advance. There are some small differences with what has emerged in recent weeks, but broadly the data match. Note that the retailer appears to be reusing images from their respective predecessors, namely the Poco X4 Pro and Poco X4. It is true that, at least for the Pro model, there should basically be no differences between one generation and another in terms of design. We then update the alleged datasheets based on new information; for the moment, no indications on prices have yet emerged.
