Specifically, the new chip will be made according to the 4 nm production process. It will be equipped with a Kryo octa-core CPU up to 2.2 GHz, an Andreno GPU that will support Vulkan 1.1, HDR and HLG. Memories, on the other hand, will be of type LPDDR5-2570 And they will support up to 12GB of RAM and USB 3.1. There will also be components such as the 5G Snapdragon X62 SA + NSA modem with the 5G mmWave and sub-6GHz bands. For Wi-Fi, however, there will be the Qualcomm FastConnect 6700 Wi-Fi 6e. Among other things, there will be support for the Bluetooth 5.2 (with LE Audio), Qualcomm “Quick Charge 4+ technology” fast charging and dual frequency GPS.

Other interesting details concern the support for displays with resolution up to FullHD + with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. As for the camera, there will be a triple ISP Spectra 12-bit, with sensor support up to 108 MP4K HDR and slow-motion video up to 240 fps. Finally, on the possible debut date, no official confirmation. The same goes for smartphones that will adopt the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1: it is still not known, in fact, which manufacturers will decide to conquer the low-end of the market thanks to the latest Qualcomm processor.
