Realme is preparing to renew the series GT Neo and the next exponent of this smartphone family could take a clear step forward in terms of performance. The most recent GT Neo 3 (here our review) is, in fact, equipped with a chip Dimensity 8100 which offers more than enough power for any task, however this is not a high-end proposition.
Things could change with the GT Neo 4 which, according to the latest rumors, Realme should present next month. As reported by the well-known insider Digital Chat Stationit seems that the company will adopt a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC on the new GT Neo 4, thus going to position the smartphone on a higher range than its predecessor.
In addition to this, the display should also receive some news on the resolution front, since it should be a 1.5K unit, or a 1.220p panel. This will allow to offer a higher definition than the traditional FullHD, without however going over the QHD field. Of course we will also find the 120 Hz support and 2160 levels of brightness that will be managed automatically by the smartphone.
Among other information that emerged, fast charging is expected to arrive at 100 Wa decidedly high value but not the best of the Realme house, which was able to bring on the market also 150 W solutions. At this point we just have to wait for further official confirmation.
