In the sector of smartphone Xiaomi has always played a leading role and currently ranks third in the global market in terms of shipments. With its Redmi brand, which in Italy is associated with mid-range devices, it has just made the new one official Redmi K50i.
The new Redmi K50i is therefore an interesting device of mid-high rangewhich arrives in Indian market and that we could see in the future also in European markets.
The introductory price for the Indian market is particularly attractive. This is the equivalent of about € 350 for the version with 6 GB of RAM, a very competitive price. We do not expect this will result in a perfect conversion for the Italian market, but we can expect a launch at less than 500 €which in any case would prove to be interesting in our market landscape.
What seems certain is that, in the event that this device arrives in Europe, the debut will take place with another name. In the past we have seen Redmi’s K series devices arrive in Europe, and also in Italy, as models of the Xiaomi T series.
