A handful of days have passed since the official announcement of the Redmi K60 line and Xiaomi has already shared the first sales data resulting from the opening of orders. In total 300,000 units were sold in just five minutes, or 1,000 per second if you prefer: these are the numbers communicated by the company through Weibo, divided between the three models that make up the K60 line up.

A slightly lower result than that of the similar launch operation carried out for the K50s, which managed to accumulate 330,000 pieces in the same time, but which nonetheless appears very good, awaiting future results.

We remind you that the K60 line up consists of three devices. The K60 Pro mounts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the Sony IMX800 as the main sensor, a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 120W wired charging, while wireless charging is at 30W, all with prices that, at the exchange rate, start from 450 euros.

The Redmi K60 is cheaper which starts at 340 euros and is distinguished by the use of the previous Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, flanked by an Omnivision OV64B main sensor and a 5,500 mAh battery with 67W wired charging and wireless at 30W. Finally Redmi K60E opts for a Mediatek Dimensity 8200, the Sony IMX582 sensor and a battery with charging solutions identical to the “smooth” K60, with prices from the equivalent of 300 euros.

At the moment the launch of the new Redmi series is limited to China and there is no information on the arrival on the international market and, therefore, also in our area.
